Someone wanted Guild Wars hacks coded from scratch — got shut down fast with a server-side reality check.
A member on the Guild Wars subforum called for coders willing to build hacks for the game, half-joking that the whole GW section should be deleted otherwise. Replies were skeptical to dismissive: one regular pointed out nobody was lining up to code anything and that googling for hacks would just get accounts banned, while another explained that Guild Wars was server-side and thus essentially unhackable beyond cosmetic client tricks, with real risk of a ban. The thread fizzled quickly with a dry joke about the FBI getting involved.
Well first off on seeing it is basically impossible to hack GW since its server side. Everything you do will just be for looks it will not actually work in-game.— R4nd0m-Pr0
