Before it even had a release date, fkn0wned was already arguing over Treyarch vs Infinity Ward and betting on Black Ops
In late March 2010, forum regular vermiLLion posted an early news roundup (sourced from gamerant/Tek9/MapModNews) revealing the reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops — its Cold War setting, SAS missions, the Iranian embassy siege level, returning Nazi Zombies, and the return of PC dedicated servers after Modern Warfare 2's absence of them. The post included commentary favoring Treyarch over Infinity Ward for supporting co-op play and PC server infrastructure. A handful of members replied with short hype/skepticism about the November 2010 release window, mostly worrying the game would feel rushed.
